Sworn and civilian roles follow the Collective Bargaining Agreements between the Owen Sound Police Service and the Owen Sound Police Service Board and the Owen Sound Police Association.

For Constable, the 2019 Collective Bargaining Agreement outlines the following annual salaries:

  • Constable in Training - $53, 832.21
  • Constable 4th Class - $75, 365.09
  • Constable 3rd Class - $86, 131.54
  • Constable 2nd Class - $96, 897.98
  • Constable 1st Class - $107,664.42

 

For Emergency 911 Communicators, the 2019 Collective Bargaining Agreement outlines the following hourly salaries:

  • Emergency 911 Communicator Level 3 - $34.38
  • Emergency 911 Communicator Level 2 - $35.68
  • Emergency 911 Communicator Level 1 - $38.93

  • All members are able to contribute to the OMERS pension fund
  • There is no waiting period for pension contribution
