Records Suspension (Pardon)

A local police records check for the purpose of a Record Suspension Application may be submitted by mail to:

Attention: Record Suspension Application

You require the following:

  • Your local police check form (pages1-2) Local Police Records Check Form for Record Suspension
  • A copy of your fingerprints 
  • Copies of two (2) pieces of valid identification
  • A certified money order or certified cheque of $50, payable to the Owen Sound Police Service
  • A consent form from an official agency acting on your behalf allowing us to send the results to them (if applicable)
  • A return mailing envelope including address and postage stamp

It may take up to ten business days to complete the application.
