The Owen Sound Police Service would like to notify the public that the 911 system is currently experiencing technical difficulties.

Bell 911 continues to work on the routing issues specific only to 911.   If there is a need to call 911, calls will continue to be processed within the Owen Sound Emergency Communication Centre (OSECC) and through partner agencies in order to ensure no one call goes unserved.  This disruption impacts a larger area than OSECC and Bell Canada continues to work on the routing issues.

There has been no delay and no 911 calls have been missed or lost.   Please continue to call (519)376-1234 ext.0 for non-emergency/non-life threatening concerns. 

OSECC will provide updates and information on further delays and/or repairs to the issue.
