Police Seek Public’s Assistance With Friday Night Convenience Store Armed Robbery
On Friday the 21st of February 2025 just before 11:00pm, a male dressed all in black, including sunglasses and a black mask, entered a convenience store situated at 9th Avenue East and 16th Street East, Owen Sound.
The thin to medium build, approximately 6 foot tall, Caucasian male, brandished a revolver style handgun and demanded that the cashier give him all the money. The young woman turned over the cash, with the culprit fleeing the store and area on foot.
The store clerk dialed 911, with uniformed officers attending to investigate, along with members of the Owen Sound Police Service's Forensic Identification Unit.
