OWEN SOUND AUXILIARY POLICE ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE

Posted on March 25, 2020

The Owen Sound Police Service’s Auxiliary Unit, in support of the Owen Sound branch of the Salvation Army, will be holding several food drive events at local grocery stores over the coming weeks. All of the food collected will assist local families in need over this holiday season.
Last year, the generosity of our community helped raise more than $3,600.00 and the weight of food donations was over 7,400 pounds.
We welcome you to give if you can again this year by donating canned goods, pasta, pasta sauce, apple sauce, juices, canned fish, peanut butter and other canned goods.

The Owen Sound Police Auxiliary Police Constables will be collecting non-perishable food items at the following locations:
METRO:

  • Friday November 22 from 5pm-9pm
  • Saturday November 23 from 9am-3pm

FOOD BASICS:

  • Friday November 29 from 5pm-9pm
  • Saturday November 30 from 9am-3pm

ZEHRS:

  • Friday December 6 from 5pm-9pm
  • Saturday December 7 from 9am-3pm

The women and men of the Owen Sound Police Service and the Salvation Army thank the community for their support of this event.
