    Dispatcher/Communicator Team Lead

    The Owen Sound Police Service is hiring full-time Team Leads for our Communications Centre. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Dispatchers, provide training, and perform dispatch duties. This position involves shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Applicants must have four years of experience in a 24-hour emergency communications setting. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a clear criminal record are required.

    Switchboard Operator

    The Owen Sound Police Service is seeking a full-time Switchboard Operator to join our Communications Centre. This role involves administrative and emergency call-taking and dispatching in a fast-paced, computerized environment. Shift work is required, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Applicants must have strong multitasking and computer skills, and excellent decision-making abilities. Preference will be given to those with experience in emergency response or high-stress call centre environments. The 911 & Emergency Service Communications program is an asset.
